Monsoon Con – Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending Monsoon Con, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Ticket Sales & Refund Policy
All ticket purchases are final. Refunds will not be issued for any reason initiated by the purchaser, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, travel issues, personal circumstances, or change of plans. Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly approved in writing by TEN SIX Photography LLC.
Event Changes
Monsoon Con, hosted by TEN SIX Photography LLC, reserves the right to modify the event at any time, including but not limited to changes in speaker lineup, schedule, venue, or overall event format. The event venue is subject to change at the discretion of TEN SIX Photography LLC. In the event of a venue change, the new location will be within a reasonable proximity to the originally advertised location and will not constitute grounds for a refund. Any such changes do not qualify for refunds.
Event Cancellation
In the event that Monsoon Con is canceled by TEN SIX Photography LLC, ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket purchase price. Refunds will not include any additional costs incurred by attendees, including but not limited to travel, lodging, meals, or other expenses.
Force Majeure
TEN SIX Photography LLC shall not be held liable for delays, modifications, or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government actions or restrictions, public safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the event may be postponed, modified, or canceled. If cancellation occurs, refunds will be handled as described above.
Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Attendance at Monsoon Con involves inherent risks, including but not limited to outdoor conditions, weather exposure, uneven terrain, travel, equipment use, and interaction with other attendees. By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the event, participants voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, associated with their participation.
Participants agree to release, waive, and hold harmless TEN SIX Photography LLC, Monsoon Con, its organizers, staff, partners, sponsors, affiliates, and venue providers from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from or related to injury, illness, death, property damage, or other loss incurred before, during, or after the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Participants acknowledge that they are solely responsible for their personal safety, decisions, and actions while attending the event.
Venue Disclaimer
Participants acknowledge that event venues are third-party locations not owned or controlled by TEN SIX Photography LLC. TEN SIX Photography LLC is not responsible for the condition, maintenance, or safety of the venue beyond reasonable oversight.
Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner. TEN SIX Photography LLC reserves the right to remove any participant from the event without refund for behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or inappropriate.
Media Release
By attending Monsoon Con, you grant TEN SIX Photography LLC permission to capture and use your image, likeness, and participation in photographs, video, or other media for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes without compensation.
Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes arising from or related to this event shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within Pima County, Arizona.
. Medical Responsibility
Participants are solely responsible for their health, safety, and medical needs while attending Monsoon Con and are expected to carry their own health insurance or appropriate coverage. TEN SIX Photography LLC does not provide medical services, supervision, or insurance coverage for attendees.
In the event of an injury, illness, or medical emergency, participants authorize TEN SIX Photography LLC and its representatives to obtain emergency medical assistance on their behalf if deemed necessary. Participants agree to assume full financial responsibility for any medical treatment, transportation, or services rendered.
Participants further acknowledge and agree that TEN SIX Photography LLC shall not be liable for any injury, illness, medical condition, or related outcome that may occur in connection with attendance at the event.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
